Fingerspelling Exercise | ASL | Crayola Color Names

ASL Exercises Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMN7QCuj6dfYtvCfcnce6gRfd8H9A9GZw

A fun fingerspelling exercise to stretch your expressive fingerspelling skills in ASL. Fingerspelling is a vital part of American Sign Language. The best way to get better at any skill is to exercise that skill, practice, study and do it again! Watch this video multiple times, watch our other exercise videos and revisit it often to stay fresh on your fingerspelling abilities.

If you’re struggling on the fastest speed, you’ll get there! Feel free to slow the video down if you need it. Also, please note that this is an exercise of repetition and speed, NOT fluidity. The hope is that an exercise like this helps build muscle memory on how to connect certain letters and stretches you to be able to sign faster. Always remember that it’s more important to be clear than to be fast when fingerspelling. So as you’re signing make sure you are achieving the correct handshapes and movements.
