Our ASL curriculum is carefully crafted to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience, structured to progressively build you and your child’s signing skills and cultural understanding. Each lesson is designed to be interactive and accessible, ensuring learners of all ages can effectively participate and grow.

Mini Courses

Short-form courses with around 2 hours of video content. Don't take that for there's not a ton packed into this package. For those familiar with our Skillshare courses this is what these are.

Main Courses

Long-form courses with around 8 hours of video content. These courses should take you several days if not weeks to get through. The video content is just a part of the overall curriculum that includes quizzes, homework and of course tests! For those familiar with our Intensives this is the on-demand version of those.

Weekly Live Chats with Meredith

Do you offer certificates?

Yes! We offer certificates for completed courses and mini courses.

How often will you update content?

Each content area has a set timeline we plan to post. Some content will be posted weekly while others will be on a monthly basis. We plan to add main courses 2 or 3 times a year.

I am an ASL newbie. Will this program help me?

Most definitely. LHTS Accelerated is created to start you at the very beginning and the great thing is, you can do this at your own pace.

I have taken other ASL classes. Why is this one different?

Community. I can’t stress enough how special this is that we are offering multiple outlets to develop connection and community. Take advantage!

What are your credentials?

I (Meredith) hold an AA in Interpreting, BA in Interpreting with double minor in Educational Interpreting and Speech Pathology, and M.Ed. in Special Education with an emphasis in Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Certified as a National Educational Interpreter and state certified ASL teacher.
