Connect to Discord Visual Guide
Follow these steps to connect your LHTS Accelerated account to your Discord account. If you don’t have a Discord account you’ll be prompted to create one in this process. If you are still having problems connecting after following all of these steps feel free to reach out for additional support using the “Technical Support” form below.
Step 1
Make sure you’re on the “Community” page of LHTS Accelerated. If you’re seeing the green “Connect to Discord” button that means your LHTS Accelerated account is not connected to Discord. Click “Connect to Discord”.
Step 2
If you already have a Discord account go ahead and login here. After logging in you can skip to Step 5. If you do not have a Discord account you’ll need to Register one. Click the “Register” button as shown visually below.
Step 3
After clicking “Register” you’ll need to fill out all of the fields in the “Create an account” form. Once you’ve filled it all out click “Continue”.
Step 4
Discord requires you to confirm you’re not a robot. Click the checkbox next to “I am human” to continue to the next step.
Step 5
Before your 2 accounts are officially linked you’ll need to “Authorize” the connection. Click the “Authorize” button below to do that and complete the setup process.
Step 6
After authorizing the connection you’ll be redirected back to the “Community” page. There you should now see a red “Disconnect from Discord” button. If so, IT WORKED!!! This means that you now have access to our Discord server. So how do you access it? Continue to Step 7 to see.
Step 7
Congratulations, you’ve successfully connected your account and confirmed that it worked. To access go to Discord.com. Here you can chose to “Open Discord in your browser” or Download the app. We always recommend the app for the best performance. Go ahead and make your choice by clicking one of the 2 buttons.
If you choose to download the app follow your computers prompts to properly install it then open the app and login to your Discord account.
If you’re on a mobile device you can just download the Discord app.
Step 8
You’re in! Now what?
To visit our “server” click the LHTS Icon on the left. This opens up the LHTS Accelerated server within Discord.
Step 9
Join the conversation! Hop in and say hello on our #general channel. If you need help, want to ask a question or are curious when the next meeting time is you can find all of that in the channels on the left. Feel free to explore and ask questions in Discord if you need assistance. This is also where you’ll find and participate in the “Silent Chats”.
