Is there additional work before and after class?

There isn't anything you need to watch or learn before attending the course. There will be a quiz to take after the live session to check your understanding before you can claim your certificate of completion.

What if I can't attend live?

The live session is recorded and will be made available to watch on-demand by the following morning on our website.

What technology do I need?

If possible we ask you to join the live class on a device with a camera that will stay stationary throughout the two hours. A laptop, tablet or phone propped up should get the job done. This will be easier to monitor singing. Since the live class will be interactive, we ask you to have a 2nd device such as a cell phone to make it easier to interact during the class. We will have live polling and questions that require you to input your answers in real-time. You being able to join via Zoom is the most important part, if you don’t have a 2nd device you will still get a lot out of the class.

How do we access the class?

You will access course via learnhowtosign.com with your login information. You can login and access your class in the upper banner of the website on a desktop computer or mobile device. All Zoom information will be posted there. You will also receive communication, including Zoom info, via email. The recording and any quizzes/work will be posted on the website within the course.

How will you be communicating with your students?

We will be sending emails to those who are enrolled in the week leading up to the Intensive and another email with follow-up information after the conclusion of the live intensive.

Will you be offering future classes?

Yes. Currently we don’t have set dates but we do plan to offer more live courses! We usually do a larger Intensive in the summer for beginner signers and 2 or 3 topical live courses throughout the year. We also have 8 self-paced courses within our Accelerated program.
