Yes! Throughout the course there are quizzes to check your understanding before moving on to the next lesson. There is also a test at the end of each of the 6 parts. Homework is done through Flip and instructions are within the course itself.
This is a self-paced course, so it's impossible to say, but we estimate that it will take about 18 hours spread out over several days to complete.
You receive a certificate by completing each of the lessons in the course. Once you've completed the last lesson you'll receive your certificate. In order to complete a quiz or test you'll need to receive a grade of at least 70%. You can access your certificates in the certificate section in the side menu on the left side of your screen.
